Visa Incoming!

The meeting went well today. In other words, I will have a new fancy sticker on my passport in about 10 days. Thank you French Consulate!

Oh great gate-keepers of France, please let me in!

I have an appointment with the French consulate on the 23rd of July. Hopefully they are still happy (and possibly a little drunk?) from the fête nationale and will kindly give me the visa that I need to make this trip a reality.

Apartment News!

Just got word on what will be my apartment in Paris. It's located in the 3rd Arrondissement in an 18th century building with an interior courtyard. I will have one roommate sharing this awesome 2 bedroom with me. We will share a kitchen and washing machine, as well as our private newly renovated bathroom. I can't wait!



The 3rd arrondissement is the 2nd smallest arrondissement in Paris and is known as a quiet and residential neighborhood that becomes more youthful and lively the closer you get to the Marais (shared with the 4th arrondissement). This cute video on the 3rd claims that "if 'Friends' was filmed in Paris, it would be filmed in the 3rd arrondissement."
